Privacy Policy

Last Updated: September 2026

At InvoiceGen Pro ("we", "our", or "us"), we prioritize the confidentiality and security of our users' commercial information. This Privacy Policy explains how our client-side web application operates and clarifies the handling of data when you utilize our invoice generation tool.

1. Client-Side Processing Architecture

InvoiceGen Pro is engineered as a static, browser-based web application. When you input business details, customer addresses, product line items, prices, discounts, or tax figures, all data processing, mathematical computations, and document rendering take place strictly inside your device's web browser.

No invoice records or customer personally identifiable information (PII) is intentionally transmitted to our web servers by the invoicing tool.

2. No Account Registration Required

We do not operate a user account system, login portal, or authentication database. You are not required to provide your email address, phone number, or payment card to access the full features of InvoiceGen Pro.

3. Uploaded Logos and Media

When you select and upload a shop or business logo, the image file is converted into a localized base64 data stream using your browser's native FileReader API. The image is never transferred to an external file server or cloud storage provider.

4. Browser LocalStorage

To enhance user convenience across browser sessions, InvoiceGen Pro utilizes standard browser LocalStorage for the following optional features:

  • Saved Invoices: Storing past invoices you explicitly choose to save locally.
  • Shop Settings: Remembering your business name, contact info, default currency, and preferred VAT rate.
  • Invoice Counter: Keeping track of the sequential auto-incrementing invoice number.
  • Theme Preferences: Remembering your preference between Dark Mode and Light Mode.

This data resides solely on your computer or mobile device and is never synchronized with any remote server.

5. How to Clear Locally Stored Data

You retain complete control over all locally cached information:

  • Inside the application, open Shop Settings and click Clear All Local Data to immediately wipe all saved invoices, defaults, and counters.
  • Alternatively, you can clear your web browser's storage and cache via your browser's standard settings menu at any time.

6. Third-Party Advertising (Google AdSense)

To keep this tool free for merchants and freelancers globally, our website may display third-party advertisements served by partners such as Google AdSense.

Third-party advertising vendors, including Google, use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.

7. User Responsibility Regarding Sensitive Data

While our architecture is client-side, we advise users to refrain from typing unnecessary highly sensitive personal credentials (e.g., banking PINs, social security numbers, or confidential passwords) into invoice comment fields.
